Installing a WordPress Theme from the Repository

You can install a new WordPress theme easily without technical knowledge. WordPress makes the process automated and user-friendly.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

  2. From the left-hand menu, navigate to Appearance > Themes.

  3. Click Add New.

  4. Browse available themes by Featured, Popular, or Latest, or use the search bar to find a specific theme.

  5. Hover over the theme you want and click Install.

  6. After installation, click Activate to make the theme live on your website.

Notes

  • Installing a theme from the WordPress repository does not require uploading any files.

  • After activation, you can customize the theme under Appearance > Customize.

  • Switching themes does not delete your content, but some theme-specific settings may need to be reconfigured.

Congratulations! Your new WordPress theme is now installed and active.
